I found two working solution to find the Product Key of Windows 10 using the Command Prompt and Registry Method.
Find Window 10 Product Key Using the Command Prompt
To Find your Product Key using the Command Prompt.
Firstly Open the Command Prompt Run as administrator. To do this type “cmd” in the search box. Then the Command Prompt appears in the search box. Right-Click on the cmd and select “Run as administrator“.
If asked for Window account password type the password of your Window. Now your Window’s Command Prompt Opened. Now copy the Following text and paste in the Command prompt :
wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey
Now the 25-digit product key appears on your screen
This is a Legal Method of the Microsoft Corporations. This method show the product key stored in your computer BIOS and UEFI . In simple words, it show the original Product key with your computer came. If you have installed windows with a different product key then it show different from the current key. This is the Quick way to find the Product key of Window 10 using the Command Prompt.
Find your Windows 10 Product Key Using the Registry Method
To Find the Product key in Window 10 using the Registry Method follow the Given steps.
- Firstly, create a notepad file by right-clicking anywhere on the Desktop, hovering over “New” button and Click on the “Text Document” from the menu.
2. Copy and Paste the Following Code in the Notepad File :

3. Next, Click on the “File” tab and Select “Save as“.
Now the File Explorer appears and name the file as “productkey.vbs“
Once you entered the file name, a new icon appears on the desktop named “productkey“.
Now you are able to see the Product key of your window 10 using the Registry Method.
